Funny little quirk

Took the Ten out for a nice long run yesterday, she's due her MOT next week and just gave her a good going over.

Anyway, one little quirk that popped up since she's been serviced. The turn signal indicator doesn't always flash (the one in the dash) :eusa_wall:

Yet sometimes it does!

It just stays on, then after a short time (sometimes, not all the time) it will start flashing - odd

The indicators are flashing fine as expected.....

Before I start looking, just thought I'd ask if anyone has seen this before, I guess I'm seeing if I can save myself some time if someone has an answer to this quirk.

On another point - You need to have a visual indicator for the MOT, but does it need to flash ?

According to the tester's manual, a reason for rejection should be "if a tell tale does not function or operate correctly". Depends I guess what the tester's idea of "not operating correctly" is?

However, it also states: "If the indicators can be seen from the riding position there is no need for a tell tale to operate".

Yes, I read that..... makes it so clear!

Still as the tester is my Step Brother,,, maybe I'll be OK.
