Hi pal sorry not been on in a while yea he's a busy guy and he loves his job, i have done a few updates to the XTX but sadly no pics will have a look at weekend to take a few more, hey love the Radial MC we used to source Aprillia RS125 Brembo's ones years ago they were then cheap as chips, but then everyone else started doing the supermoto thing, not got to go too big or else you loose the feel and it all goes wooden.

Well it's up for sale but after going for a blast today i am wondering why, it pulls like a tank, is comfy at motorway speeds, starts first time every time, and puts a grin on my big fat face, so i ended up at Finingley one of the MX tracks nearby to watch a few pals who are in the British Supermoto Championship doing a bit of winter MX practice.
It's not the best weather for a big single but enjoyment was had, pity it took 2 hrs to get the crud off after. Anyway here is a few more pics of whats been done over last few months, next plans are if it does not sell are stainless spokes and black powder coated hubs.

Puig screen and cheepo levers for China.

Hi to all this is the first time my XTX has been on the site, bought new in March for 5295 all in, never had a test ride just sorted Yamaha low rate finance and went to collect.

http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7e1975ab.jpg

My first impresion was of joy it looked ace in it's bright red paint, that is until i rode it, having various bikes in 30 years i was very dissapointed in the harsh fueling at one point i nearly turned around to ask for my money back.

I made the 100m trip home in freezing rain and snow, (dont ya just love the UKs weather) wondering what i had done, i had been looking on here like most do for a month, so the surging was of no surprise just a lot worse than i expected, Kev came to the rescue with the Fuel mod, and the O2 eliminater, both were fitted asap, and have made things a ton better but i am still wanting it better if thats possible, when i asked a Yamaha tech i was told "all big singles do that" ahh ok pal.

Next came a set of Arrow cans, baffles in or out it still SHOUTS, they have great quality and light weight, Worry Brother supplied a Tail Tidy which is all you will ever need from a TT, so it now has a pert rear instead of a saggy rear.

http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/...ps93641e7d.jpg

Ebay supplied a pair of handgaurds but i think i am going back to standard bar ends etc, Renthal grey soft grips help me hold on.

DNA stage 1+2 filters from OTR have made a fair difference it now sounds great and has made a big difference in how it picks up, snorkel out to.

http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/...ps023f0ac5.jpg

At this point i decided i better start riding it seeing as the weater had picked up, i then wanted a small screen to help reduce the wind in your face feeling,a Puig screen was fitted the small one thats fit behind the original headlight unit, it help keep wind of your body but gets me just on the helmet, but has made it better.

I am now enjoying messing about on the XTX i find anything over a 100m trip is enough the seat does try to part my butt in a not so nice way, i enjoy the power at low speed, the upright riding position, the noise is awsome, it turns in nice if under national speeds but feel it needs a tug over that, it behaves well two up too, to some it up, for me it does just what i want it to do, in a reasonable way, yes it could be better but it would cost a lot more, it gives me scope to modify it to make it personal and its mine get your own.
