Newbie from the midlands
 

Thought I would drop in and say hi after having picked up my new (to me) XT660Z 2 weeks ago from a member on here.

What a bike! Should have bought one years ago...

Took it out today for a long run round Elan and Claerwen. First time off road on it and I'm well impressed.

Cheers guys :icon_thumleft:. Did see the forum about the lakes meet and it looks like a good laugh and right up my street, but unfortunately won't be able to make it :icon_sad:.

On the mods front, the member who had it before me fitted the kev mod and DNA stage 2 filter - which is what I would have done if it wasn't already there. This week I put on wide pegs and some adjustable levers.

The only thing I really need to do is fit some bar risers and it's perfect!
