throttle cable adjust
 

Hi I have a new Xt660z (well new to me) with 13,500 miles on its clocks.

The throttle has a lot of slack before it starts to operate and the cable is at the max on the handlebar adjustment.

I want to do the mod to make it better at low throttle openings but need first need to get this sorted.

Is the cable adjustable at the throttle body end?

There's plenty of adjustment at the throttle body, twist the throttle and you will see the throttle body moving around and there's adjustable screws for both cables
