Advice please
 

Was just wondering what size cover would fit a xt660x,was looking at getting a waterproof full over bike cover?

I got a large in a cheap bike cover and it was way to small then a large in a good quality one and it's massive at the front as its more heavy duty and then fits on the rear (well it would if I didnt have a top box on)

so large is the area. I'd advise getting one with a strap for under the bike and if possible straps for the wheels

I've had a few of the Lidl covers. Don't last long, but cheap, about �8. The medium size fits my XT600E and XTR perfectly (no panniers or top box). It also happens to fit my mower like it was made for it. When one of them tore in a wind I replaced it with a large from Lidl as it was the only size they had, and it is way too big. I reckon Lidl's 'large' is for full-dress Gold Wings and the like. But all makers will have different sizes, I would guess. Only way is to ask for dimensions and measure up.

+1 on the straps. My covers have eyelet holes and I attach a couple of bungees under the wheels. You definitely need something to tie them down.
