Unless you go to a yamaha dealer...

Top bearing 25x47x15 tappered roller... Bearing number "32005"
bottom bearing 30x55x17 tappered roller.. Bearing number "32006"

you will need to go to yamaha for the bottom seal..

Great thanks Pentenz... But just to confirm, i can go to any bearing place and get those bearing and would only need to go to a Yamaha dealer for the bottom seal? Wow that would be great!!! The Yamaha dealer wants to charge me R900 for both bearings and R1000 labour! I nearly fainted! I have never changed these bearings before but I'm hoping all the great guys here could maybe help me out if I get stuck! I have heard that it's really not a big job to do! I must be honest I do not feel happy paying so much just to have the bearing replaced!

Any bearing surplyer should have them on the shelf...
they are common ... car wheel bearings/trailer wheel bearings etc
are all tappered roller races...
I'm pretty sure the seal is a yamaha made unit... but take it with yer
never know yer luck...

Wow!!! My baby is back!!!! Got the bearings today and installed them!!! Took some effort to get them off but eventually got it right! The new bearing fit snug! Thanks for that Pentez!!! You did mention that i should get the bottom seal from a Yamaha dealer but they said to me that the seal is a dust cover and it comes attached to the bottom bearing. So they couldn't help me however when removing the bottom bearing the dust cover came loose from the bearing and i was able to reuse it!! Woohoo all worked out well!!! Thank you all again for all your assistance!!!!!!
