Old and new Tenere

Arranged to meet my mate Cabbage at Hirwaun to have a run out, with no real plan in mind. The Tenere was/is up for sale, but truth be known, I would rather keep it, its purely for financial reasons I was going to sell. Reality is its "robbing Peter to pay Paul". So as Ive always said, "A bike has to stir the soul "......... This Tenere definately does that
Anyway , set off towards sarn Helen. Its got a bit of a legality grey area going on, so exercised my view that it was going to be ridden. To be honest, its not so much fun on a large traillie... lumping over large rocks without seeing your front wheel doesnt set the juices flowing, but its really only the one downhill section. The rest is OK, and scenic as ever.

The Ten decided to have its first lie down, pleased me to be honest, as its over and done with !!

We then did a couple of smaller farm lanes to make our way towards Myddfai
Cabbage had a superb off, complete with wash

After a breif cuppa at Llandovery, we set off to Strata Florida, not been on it for over a year now, and I had forgotten how fabulous this lane is, the Teneres lapped it up and it was a pleasure, just fabulous

Cabbage then decided to hit some sunken treasure... again !!!

The end result!!! Off to German E bay

My Missus thinks we swam with crocodiles !!!!

We then made our way, via a stunning bit of tarmac to claerwen. Fast and scenic, and a great work out for the Teneres suspension, overal I thought it coped very well... bar for the fact at the end I'd lost another number plate. Time to trim the rear end

Great day out, in fabulous weather, but by the time I arrived home in Cardiff my feet were feeling like frostbite was not far away, and seal skinz didnt keep my feet dry !!!!

Hey Wide, does this mean that it's a keeper?

Secret to keeping number plate is to put an extra plastic number plate screw through the small pip that is behind the lower part of the plate.
Mine vibrated on tickover and annoyed me so I put one there and have not lost or damaged a plate yet despite a few exiting moments.!

Well yes, I would guess this bike is a keeper. Like I say "It stirs my soul". The only reason it was going to up for sale was because Im skint and the money can be spent elsewhere and still give me enough to have a cheaper bike of the same kind.... but I do think I would regret it after a day like this!!!!

I did so, when I got my bike and it works. No Problems with vibrating off the numer plate.

Don't sell it. Trust me. You might end up replacing it with a Triumph or something inadequate like that.
