OK thanks Pleiades.

I need some help...

I am trying to catch a signal from the o2 sensor with an oscilloscope.
I probe the grey cable on the ECU plug but I get strange signal. Is this the right cable?

I am working on a mod to keep the ECU in open loop and I want to check the AFR (not AFR but lean or reach) by probing the o2 sensor.

Thanks

On the ECU side of the loom:

Grey = signal (ground)
Grey with green trace = signal (+)

On the O2 sensor side:

White = signal (ground)
Blue = signal (+)

thank you very much Pleiades.

I have a question...

Do you think that we should use a CR6E spark plug for these mods?

thanks

Every variation of fuelling setup I have tried, both with PCV and Kev's mod, has worked perfectly well with a spark plug of the stock recommended heat range (7). I see no reason to go to a hotter (6) or a cooler (8) unless you've radically altered the motor, the fuel used is of poor quality, you're over/under fuelling and/or you're bike isn't running right in the first place. Even if you do feel like trying something different/fancy, it's always best to start with a stock copper core #7 plug to get yourself a baseline from which to work.

ok thanks, but why copper core? I thought the iridium would be better...
