OD of standard exhausts?
 

Got an 04 xtx, looking at building and exhaust system for it, using headers from a 96 tenere which run over the engine case as opposed to under the engine.

I wont be able to see the bike for 4 weeks but I am wondering if anyone knows the outside diameter of the standard pipe?

My plan is to use an oval end can from some other bike and make a link pipe for it to the headers. Can anybody help with sizes, as I can buy a oval can if I can find out.

Hi, really don't know the OD of the pipe but sounds great, might have to try it myself if you succeed :) very fun indeed :) :)
