Fun test ride. Forgot to tighten up the number plate. While out i heard a big bang and felt a thump. Pulled over and realized my plate had gone :-) Found it up the road and have taped it up for now. New one ordered. Last big job to do it the side panels to cover the wiring and then its lots of small details to address.

are those knoberlies on a xtx front wheel? :)

Ye, TKC 80's and they come in a front 17". Gone are the days of fitting a rear to the front :-) When i bought them i worried they may cause vibrations or feel dodgy on the road but they cause neither. Comfortable at all speeds and they have plenty grip on road. I dont think they will last long though, very soft rubber.

They go right on with no mods and no rubbing. Used standard size tubes. I emailed the manufacturers regarding the rear as they don't make a 160/60-17 but they said the 150/70-17 would be fine and it is. The front runs the standard 120/70-17.
