What are these connectors under the seat?

I'm just having a fiddle around with my used XT that I got today, and looking under the seat I found a couple of connectors. Can anyone tell me what they are?

I have been wondering the same too. No idea and no guesses either.

They're for the Yamaha accessory alarm. One goes to the ECU and the other connects up to the indicator circuit if I recall.

The attached pic shows the power wire that is switched on & off by the key, hope that helps.

Cheers Supamanaint! :icon_cheers:

I was seconds away from buying a test light or multimeter for the sole purpose of determining the correct plug - no longer required :D

Thanks guys. Great stuff. So you get the 12v from the connector - does the neutral go back to the battery or what, if wiring grips? Or can one use another pin on the connector. Maybe I'll ask my local dealer tomorrow if the matching connector is available and try to wire the whole thing up.

I must get a workshop manual...
