I think it's probably an app designed for Saxo/Corsa wielding spotty yoofs to amuse themselves with in the local McDonalds car park!

I have an app for my android called cradar (CRAsh Detection And Response) that monitors the accelerometer for an indication of a crash, and sends a text with your gps location to a person of your choosing. there is an adjustable delay before the text is sent, so you can cancel if it's a false alarm.

i don't know if the guy has made an iphone version, but i'm sure there will be a similar app available!
