i would use these inserts on the front but not the back.
my rear indicators EVERY time i go out fill of water & mud....even when theres no water around they some how fill up??? :) i've took the lense off and refitted with a seal of Vasaline, also blocked the holes in the tail section where the leads enter the stalk.......still fills up with crap! :( So i thought about changing to LED incators to save on current draw BUT also to have indicators that arent a magnet for ****e! :) EDIT.....just seen this pic!! please explain.......thats amazing!!! http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/r...x/DSC00007.jpg |

I think the Yamaha LED items are 45 for all 4, if I remember correctly, check with your dealer.

dumb question....but they legal in the UK (m.o.t pass i mean)
im always looking to make my bike more crash proof and thats a great way. I take it there just glued on from the in side? what about the heat from the zorst...would it un settle glue, or even damage cable (depending on routing i suppose). if the LED's dont sit flush with the drill holes you may get the clogged with mud?? I've got a roll of the clear led strips, bought them some work i was gonna do on my fazer.....never got round to it debating getting a MTC can if i can get the baffle modded to make it quiter....if i stick with the original can i gonna do this me thinks :D |
I've had a fair bit of trouble with LED indicators on the rear of my X, basically they get vibrated to death! may be cheaply made indicators, but vibration keeps breaking the wire off of the pcb...
