Bash plate/Engine bars

I have finaly got the ten bash plate & engine bars on my XTR..
I use the B&B plate & Yamaha bars..
I cut the mounts of the bars , put new ones on so the bars
bolted to the plate.. So now 4 bolts remove the plate/bars
as one unit... I will lift the plate 25mm & move it foward a bit
that will give a bit more clearance between the gear lever
& engine bars...

Also fitted a set of tapper bars as the cross brace was in the way of the GPS mount..

next mods are a set of CR250 USD forks & Ohlins shock..

Top job!

Mate - that bashplate looks the business!

:smilies0346:

I really like the fat bars too as it makes the cockpit look much cleaner, less cluttered compared to my "busy" bar area with the renthal cross brace and RAM mount for the GPS.

As an aside, are you still running the puig screen? In the picture of your bars, the screen extends further than I expected of the puig. The reason that I ask is that the puig is my preferred choice at the moment for a replacement but I am teetering on other screens (Yam high for instance, for performance despite it's looks ).

Cheers,
Dale
