That looks like a really solid, well built tail tidy, one of the best I've seen. Much more substantial and better looking than the rather ugly (IMO) R&G alternative.

If I had a single pipe then I'd be very tempted.

Thanks! I have made it by myself... I'm quite satisfied. Would rather have a smaller reg plate though! But that would be against the law.... :)

:notworthy: Wow - very professional!

Thanks but it is to advanced and would be to expensive to sell to make an effort....

Maybe you could get some ideas and inspiration from it instead. :)

Nice one. Very similar positioning to mine for the lights and plate, but much more nicely made.

Nice work!

Hi did you have a problem with the lights when replacing the tail brake light . amps watts etc.?

xphase 03-01-13 23:04

Well, to be honest I have only tried it a few minutes... Its a winter project and to cold to be driving right now. But I dont see any reason why it should't work?
Everything is Led and using a lot less power consumption. Ofcourse the led indicators require another relay though.

Do I need to worry?? :o

uberthumper 03-01-13 23:14

I had to replace the relay, but everything else has been fine. DRC edge tail-light and some cheap LED indicators.

xphase 04-01-13 22:13

About the relay, I live in Sweden... Is there any store where I can buy a relay for my LED indicators here? Or do I have to order from ebay? Is there any special relay you guys recommend?

I found this one, seems like a plug n play without any wires... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tchlink:top:en

uberthumper 04-01-13 22:31

No idea. I bought mine from Halfords (motor parts store in the UK), but I've seen them in plenty of bike shops. I would think anywhere that sells LED indicators would sell relays as well, because most bikes will need one.

What do you think about the relay I posted about previously? This one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tchlink:top:en

It looks like it would be Plug n Play, only things that worries me is that it has 3pin connectors. My XT660Z only has 2 pins? (but with space for three....) So I guess it would fit, but do you think it would work? :)
