Nice unbiased view on that... it sounds to me that Oz has trails and roads well suited to these big/small traillies

That is a pretty good assessment of all four bikes imo. The Kawasaki wins on a combo of price, ability and lack of complexity. The latter can be an asset in remote areas for sure. But my cousin has a low-km one, and I was happy to get back on my Tenere. His is a good one, derestricted and properly jetted with a pipe. It makes much the same power as my bike. But, regardless of the big price difference, the Yamaha is for me.

Iv ridden 3 of these bikes and i settled for the ten because of its mechanical simplicity, service intervals and after the first ride i was hooked..
