Of the "adventure" motorcycling books I've read the two that have entertained me most would be "These Are The Days That Must Happen To You" (Dan Walsh) and "Is That You Angus?" (Fergus O'Connell - ebook). The latter only covers an trip from Grimsby to the North West of Scotland, but it's a gem of a tale and something every biker can relate to, adventurer or otherwise.

he's the guy who started a thread on ukgsers and adv entitled why is the gs12 such a bag of sh1te, well it kept our popcorn machine going! as it was certainly a real bunfight. go on its worth checking out, its rather un pc and a thoroughly entertaining read |
And Nick Sanders is now touring on the Super Tenere and the old R1 has been pensioned off, and from time to time Nick tours Yamaha dealers and gives an account of his travels. I have yet to get to one but I understand that his talks are fantastic and he also brings his bike along for you to see, great evening I am told.
