Assuming its the blue one with Koso rev counter & Oxford front mini-indicators, then yes, it was mine!!!
Never missed a beat, & no I didn't rag it! I'm a bit middle-aged when it comes to maintenance - must have used a gallon of ACF50 & several tubes of Autosol.... A couple of pointers: 1) Battery on rev counter will probably need replacing soon. Its a standard computer battery, CR2032(???). Unscrew the bolt holding the hand-fashioned bracket to the clutch lever, & you can access the battery from under the underside. 2) Bike stalled on me a couple of times. You need to adjust idle speed up a little every now & then. 3) Note silicone around baffles: this is Plumber's heat proof stuff that is used for sealing gas boiler flues. I lost a baffle through vibration & didn't want it to happen again! Should be easy to remove with a knife - sounds AWESOME with baffles out, but rather anti-social... She's a good bike. I saw her in showroom after trade-in, & was amazed how quickly she sold!! Enjoy! |
Hi Alpine wheels, I got my xtx about 3 weeks ago, I'm also from the uk (Kent). Love the bike to bits also blue with gold wheels. Just need the Kev fuel mod and some heated grips and that's it!
