Found a wee off road track near Bramear around a mile long. Got wet though after splashing into a deep puddle which covered the front wheel completely and pushed a tusmia sized wave over my helmet and what felt like all down my back!!!!

Quiet a small castle when you get near it...more like a big house

Back again via the off road section....this time a little faster!!!!

Thought i found two off road trails but turns out there were around 150m of off road track then a gate to a field.....still fun on Tenere

Starting to get dark now and the point that i found i forgot my clear visor!!!! not too bad as i wear milk jars for glasses but quiet cold on the face with a visor open at 60mph!!!

Service station at Perth for a burger king.
http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/h...123455/028.jpg

Ended up getting home at 11pm, and i had been up and about on the tenere from 9am, and some 400 miles. Worked out that i was averaging 60mpg and i wasnt holding it back in most places.

Finally my two babies at work parked for up for a few weeks until my next trip!!!

Verdict of the tenere

Just what i want from a bike, loads of torque down low, enough poke up top to over take and get a shimmy on. Good wind protection, sounds crack with that 2 into 1 can (cant wait to remove the baffle:usa2:), handles well, easy to look after/service my self mostly etc

XT meet next 2013......i cant wait

What he hasna told you is that the deep puddles you see here look very tame but a couple of years ago while blatting up here I suddenly lost view of the front of the bike - these puddles are in fact 27ft deep!!! well almost.
Unfortunately I forgot to mention this when I told Max about the track...Sorry pal:rofl[1]:Yup when you told me about your experience in the puddle I must admit to a bit of a giggle.
Sounds like you had a long day mate - glad you are a happy chappy.
