Welcome to the best XT660 site in the world!!! I have a group of mates and we go away for a couple of weekends plus a longer trip each year on the bikes, we have visited Sicily, Sardinia, Elba, Tuscany and most parts of mainland Italy over the years. A mate with a scooter wanted to come with us to Sardinia this year so I lent him my XTX instead and he REALLY enjoyed himself. Then he decided to purchase a bike and guess what, he bought a BMW GS800. Well he now really regrets it as it is really crap compared to the XT, he finds it much harder to ride and unstable over about 110kph!!!!! And an XT would have cost him MUCH less, go figure, I guess they just have such good marketing......

After a bit of thinking I've ordered H&B Gobi box's.
As there's not much on these I'll put up some pics when I get them.

And ps the height just takes getting used to. I suggest that you dont lower it (or maybe just a small drop thro the yokes) as the handling suffers when the bike is lower, I know as my previous XTX was lowered and the current standard one is MUCH more fun.
