Scorpion Exhaust

Hi guys. Has anyone here fitted a Scorpion exhaust to their Ten. I'm thinking of getting an exhaust but want something that sits high up like the original and is a twin pipe system. I was thinking of these http://www.scorpion-exhausts.com/pro...tml?autoid=456 and was interested if any one has these, or i would be happy to hear on other options. I love the Akra's and LV pipes but they sit too low for me.

I noticed these a bit back and thought great, finally someone has come up with an aftermarket system that (sort of) follows the lines of the original, and British too. However, after examining them closely (not in the flesh I might add), I'm not entirely convinced that the link pipe (where it crosses sides) won't foul the wheel on full compression, especially if you have lowering links fitted or a 140/80 rear. The Scorpion link pipe is a lot lower than the front part of the OE silencer box. I reckon my Akra's link pipes (like most other twin can systems) are shaped the way they are to leave a good size hole for the wheel to slot into?

Yeah i think you might be right. So we seem to be back at the Akra's. No one else come across any aftermarket pipes that follow the lines of the original?

Having had the LVs, and the Akras, those Scorpion pipes look like they sit in exactly the same position.
I made a single link pipe that puts a 50mm silencer in the standard position, let me know if you are interested.

Have a look at the Leo Vince http://www.leovince.com/it/catalogo-...660r_2004/7762

:smilies0943: The link pipe arrangement is completely different in every way on the Scorpions...

Sorry Pleiades, I meant the angle of the silencers, not the link pipe.

:glasses2: No bother, crossed purposes me thinks.

Scorpion Exhaust system

I have had Akras on my 660R and Leo Vince on 3 0f the teneres Ive owned .
I have done 38 000 km on my current Tenere with Scorpion Exhausts,
Its the best power you will get out of an exhaust .
They are shorter in length than LV. and I love the power range, sometimes hitting the Limiter while cornering in the dirt,

I also have Scorpions on my Ten and with the DNA filter and cover it really performs very well.
