Big Trip..ideas ??
 

Hi Boys and Girls
need to do some sort of road trip(using the XT) in 2013/14 for my 50th Birthday...... or....... fly out and wreck someone else's bike.

Has anyone got any kind of ideas floating around or can recommend a memorable trip to do for say 2 or 3 weeks ?? Wanting a once in a lifetime thing.

Alternatively also thinking about a Nepal trip using the people that hire out royal enfields ....If anyone has any Thoughts on these... good.. bad or even if you want to come along ??

We went out and hired Harleys, bit different to my gs500 at the time.
2 and a half weeks, but would've liked another week really.
4 of us, 2 bikes.
Bikes from Eagle rider, collected in California dropped off in Chigago.
(reverse order to most, luckily as we rode a gap in a mad storm the whole way.)

I'd love to do it again, lots of food, some amazing roads/scenery, even some friendly folk along the way.

Some say a once in a lifetime trip.

Gobi desert in Mongolia.. has the highest drivable/ridible pass
on the plant 15,000ft ?.. but yer need to be able to carry enough fuel
for 800 plus kms..

Asia... hire a KLX 250 for like 200 pound a month...... & EVERYTHING is so dam cheap...
I done 10 days 20 years ago on a honda c90 scooter... one of the best 10days of my life..
If I rember correctly the scooter cost me something like $1.60nz a day...

What about joining us?
