Sad to see her go

Just want to say thanks to everyone on the forum for Thier help over the last couple of years it's been the best source of information for any bike I have ever owned but now the time has come to sell my 2007 XTX as I have just picked up a ktm 950 smr and can't keep them both (will be sticking around on the forum as when I get some more money I will probably pick up a newer XTX or an XTZ as a second bike).

The bikes in excellent condition with only 5 and a half thousand miles on the clock it's got all the necessary mods to sort out the fuelling problems-
Power commander with custom map from this forum.
DNA stage 1&2 filters
Scorpion exhausts

The engine paint is peeling as shown in the advert but that's the only problem with the bike, other than that it's been the perfect bike.

If anyone's after a very clean low mileage bike that never failed to put a smile on my face please have a look and happy bidding!!

If the link doesn't work it's listed as 2007 yamaha xt660x supermoto on eBay.

You'll want the UK KTM forum,I delved into it when I was thinking about an SMC,it's a culture shock after this site(or just about any other!!) I can tell you.

I bet the UK KTM forum does not list detailed mods like these that I have done to my SMR. I started to post my mods on the UK KTM forum but a few of the guys on there are complete dickheads so I moved on, it's a pitty it only takes one or two guys to stuff it up for everyone else. That is what Captmoto has managed to do here with XT660.com a great place to visit with no dickheads.

Im a member of the uk ktm forum but not many people like giving you replies to your questions and those who do can be a bit sarcastic plus as its for all ktms the 950 questions are mixed in with the 640/690/990 questions so finding what you actually need is a bit of a nightmare and when you ask for a point in the right direction you get use the search bar or google- very helpful.

There is now a 950/990 section.

Thought I'd be a tad more diplomatic which is unusual for me,with 4 bikes and god knows how many forums covering each I see a fair cross section, ranging from the sublime to to rediculous.

Oh yeah I just noticed that new section- nowt in it though- nothing helpful anyways- the orange crush section on the adventure bike rider forum has been the best source for the 950s but it's one long thread with hundreds of pages so finding what you want is a nightmare.

Forum

I must say this is such a friendly forum, i have asked many basic questions and always had very thoughtful and helpful answers. And have never been made to feel i am wasting peoples time. I salute you all .

I'd have gone for a tad restricted myself, just the fact you have to pay to advertise anything is strangling the site, the only sites I've contributed to are the ones that give me the choice, but hey ho each to his/her own.
