just past the glasgow store about 1 mile from my work flat and signs up saying closing down. Its a shame as they where a good sized store with alot of the clothing range, fully stocked up with little sizes missing.

Interestingly I noticed yesterday that the Hein Gericke branch in Norwich has reopened under the banner of Infinity Motorcycles. Apparently they have bought the lease and have re-employed the five staff at the branch.

However, I gathered (from what I can make out) that the mystery buyer announced for Hein Gericke UK last week is not Infinity, they have just bought a "few" of the old shops, because the new owner is not interested in reopening anything close to all of the 49 HG branches in the UK.

I've been told by staff in two branches of HG that the new owners are HG Germany.
