Well i used to have a tenere about three bikes back until some bar steward decided they wanted it more than me and just took it!

ended up with a suzuki drz400sm for a while (good fun)

then saved and got me a cheap yam xj6n from flea bay.

traded that in about three month back for a Honda NC700X

Now im craving a xt660 again! just seen one on a good deal, going to look at it tomorrow.

While the NC700X is a good workhorse, it just has no soul.

help needed positives and negatives please......

cheeaz

may well be intyerested in a swap

im currantly running a klr 650 660tenere back to back

mine has battle scars but the tank engine casings and all the main stuff are untouched
this is full spec off road ready with 1800 quids worth of bit oincluding full ohlins suspension

or stripped to standard the shock would cost 650 quid without fitting

3100 quid without bits 3800 quid with

high spec a standard 09 wouls cost 1800 quid or more to put in to this spec

no known faults ... im not bothered if i sell or not pm for full details if interested
super shiney never used off road ....wrong bike ...well sorted with high quality add ons maby your bag

for any serious or semi serious off road type person this is a very good bike to consider

without being in any way funny .. if you dont do off road this is not the bike for you whoever you are there is no point .. and the cosmetic wear would not sit well with you either which is fair enough

a nc 700 would sit well with me at the moment as me wee strom is chugging over 80.000 miles and the klr fits my needs better as althoug its not as good as the xt
it more managable for me off road .. so a full ricor supension set up is wanging its way accoss the adlantic

the honda is perfect for me as i comute and run my own bike school so do over 500 miles per week ..of course i dont need it to do two jobs and think its great for what i need

anyway whatever happens ill end up with one i think for the job i have in mind its brilliant .i test rode one a while back and its perfect for work
