Opinions please

I'm looking for your thoughts on this if you will.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I fitted a Puig screen to my XTX. Now I know you lot aren't fans of them on the X, but I must say, it makes a huge difference. The wind no longer hits me directly in the chest and the ride is much more enjoyable.

Now the problem I have at the moment is that I think the red decal on the headlight surround looks out of place. So I'm after your opinions, should I remove it and leave it plain black?

Also, should I put something else on there in its place? I've never liked the decal on there to be honest. Maybe because it's not symmetrical.

Ideas please.

Forgot to say, I'll stick a pic or two on later. Can't post pics from imageshack from my phone.

Right, finally got around to taking a couple of pics if this.

Personally I think it would look better without the red decal. Would it need something else in its place though, and if so what?

Everything looks ok to me, it's just that I am not a fan of those puig screens.

I know what you're saying, it does spoil the look of the front, but it does make a huge difference. The wind no longer hits me directly in the chest, making it a more comfortable ride.

I can understand that not too sure feeling about the decal - a bit zorroish? and as you say one sided. Not sure what you would replace it with though. I would suggest try it plain black and then look aroud for something if you are still not sure.

hmmmm i see what you mean, the screen isnt the nicest but comfort is key when your on the bike. As for the red strip im completely not a fan. Im on the idea of plain black until youve got some other ideas. Do you have a prefered number for eg if you ever where to go racing you would use.... Mines 88 as its the year i was born and have now put it on my last 2 bikes at the front, always is a questioning point for other bikers and get the conversion started. Just a thought:040:
