Wich fork/Bike does fit the XTR, need answer quick!!!!!!!!
Hello Got a XT660R 2007 I recently bought after that I sold my KTM690EnduroR. Yes the 690 was wonderful but needed a normal bike. I have bought a KTM WP for a 525SX from -04 with complete wheel & brakes. I haven,t started but looking how I gonna fit the stem. Don,t know if the WP fits straight away too the XT660 steering bearings or how much job. Had also found a set from a Yamaha YZF450 -08, how does it fit with this parts better or????? Please if someone knows please answer very soon. Thanks a lot! :) |
Easiest, but most expensive way...
http://www.off-the-road.de/XT-660/Su...60-Racing.html Will make KTM forks fit Yamaha steering stem and bearings. |
Thanks for a quick answer but OTR fork or clamps are not a option it,s to expensive. Just wondering about the stem is the same on YZF and XT! :)

I have seen an XTZ with a WRF front end fitted, but it was only an eBay advert, so I have no idea of the details or how much work was involved in fitting.
The other option is to use the KTM forks and Yokes/Triple Clamps, and have a custom steering stem made. |
The guy with the YZF seems to be a little strange so I will stick to my WP fork and mod them to fit. Will try to remember to take photos! Thanks.

I read somewhere on here that a member has fitted the front forks off honda xr400 with big wheel and brake calipers and used the yamaha triple clamps...i will try and look for link later and post the link up
