Crack in my tyre.
 

Hi guys.
Hoping you can give me some advice. I'm on a trip at the moment and noticed a few cracks in my front tyre.

This is a picture. It's happening on the side 'knobs'
Still plenty of tread on it but I don't want to keep riding on it if it's dangerous but have no idea. What do you guys think? I still have about 4000km to go on the trip.

I wouldn't worry too much. Doesn't look like the carcass of the tire is worn or damaged.

Yeah its a tourance. I'll just keep an eye on it then.

I get them all the time, worse in the hot weather (I think, it's been so long since we had any here).

I just keep a check on them to see that they don't begin to look like a tear, or go too deep. They never have, and the tyre wears out before the 'cuts' become a problem.

Well it decided to start to break up on the way into town today so it's getting changed to a pirelli scorpion .mt90 now. Was the only tyre they had that would fit and I've run it before ok.
