Maybe you could call/email them for it's mate?

Be careful, you cannot (as far as I know) fit the XT660R or Tenere wheels to the XT660X. And you cannot get 17 inch off road tyres!! You would need to change the forks and the brakes to get the 21inch front, so it would be really really expensive. Good luck!!!

How knobby do you need it?

Pretty sure it's a 17" front wheel & tyre...

Bike belongs to a Swede called Manneman (clock him on ADVRider)

Cheers, Boneman

Wow I am very impressed and stand very corrected!!!! Is the bike any good in the dirt?? And who makes those tyres cos my dealer told me you cannot get them........

Michaelrn 10-07-12 20:42

Cheers guys I went to the local Yamaha dealer said would cost around 1500 but he did tell me about Avon distanzia tyres apparently they can be used on light off road and are really good on Tarmac too , I dont know weather to try these tyres can get a pair for 160 pounds be a cheaper option without taking my bike to bits,

That bike does look sweet if all else fails I will try copy that guys bike ha ha

Avon distanzia for light muddy stuff, I have had acceptable results with Maxxis presa supermotard in dry dusty to light mud also. A lot of peeps like the Avon...

I think they're Heidenau K60, but what size he's running on the front is a mystery? Must be taller than OE size I guess - note the fork brace has gone AWOL?

Tyre mystery...

Could he be running a 17" rear tyre on the front?

Rather than reinvent the wheel, just get in touch with him at ADVrider. There is an XT660X/R forum there, he posts under the name Manneman.

Cheers, Boneman
