Fiddich 28-06-12 17:27

Two black and one red 'master'.

Gas_Up_Lets_Go 28-06-12 18:28

The red one is the important one, personally, I wouldn't accept the bike without it (unless they reduced the price by a significant amount, with at least 3 zeros)

paulp 28-06-12 21:26

I bought mine. I knew about the key thing and still ended up without the red master.er divvy... I had a spare red key given with bike but was just a red coloured normal key... Thanks spenders motorcycles in leicester . Was guna give him what for for lying cos I asked about key and he said yip its here.**** .but i was already in love after 2weeks so I didn't bother. There is a firm who reprogram ecu and supply red keys?? Moto matrix or something ..220 cost.. Would be interested if anybody has used them because it's Gunnar need doing sometime...poop

The master "red" key is, visually (but not electronically), essentially a red coloured normal key?

It's called - Conspiracy to Defraud, and the dealer can go to jail for it.

I'd drop in and remind him, perhaps on the way drop in at the police station.

Mort 29-06-12 14:22

Was getting my bike to day ,the dealer rang and apologized it had a fork seal leak found when fitting a new Tyre, apparently the fork slider is damaged.?I asked about the cush drive it will be checked. :bricks: apparently it has the keys but i did not know about the red one.:incon_aargh[1]:'O' there fitting a new leg.:038:

I'd be asking some questions about the damage; where it ism what its is, how it might have been done and what other knock-on effects there might be. Fork sliders don't generally just get damaged in normal use?

Yeh I did feel a bit done. Wot bothers me tho is he said yip there it is. If he would have been honest I could of made up me own mind about it. Incidentally, when I bought it he mot ed it while I was waiting, question is should it have passed without a chain guard?? Cos I ain't got one, just wondering cos if not,the mot wasn't exactly spot on if you all know wot I mean... Still in love tho after all that.

Depends, I believe it can pass without a chain guard IF there are no passenger foot pegs - but I might be wrong.

http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/repositor...0the%20MOT.pdf

^ this gives you a basic view of what is required.

Also, there is a common problem with the new MOT's, as they are basically two pieces of A5 printed on a sheet of A4. On the left side is the MOT, on the right side are the advisories. Some garages are folding the right side of the sheet over (to the middle) and photocopying it, so you get a sheet without any advisories. Again, this is fraudulent. You can check your MOT, and any advisories on the Direct.gov website -> http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring.../Mot/index.htm
