A new toy.."slightly used"
 

Been looking around for a while for a bike
for twin shock trials events...
just picked up a 1977 Montesa Cota 348..
rebuilt motor 500km ago so the guys story goes
500k? its still got the speedo on the fork leg so possable..
only thing missing is the air box..
cost me $1100nz ( $860us)

Nice, good price too. Remember those well. Used to compete against guys on them in the early eighties - I used to ride a Fantic 240 back then. Get it sorted and enjoy... :D

looks great. I have to sell my Tenere as we need the money but really fancy a wee trials bike and something like that wouldnt do much harm to the bank balance

its scathered from one of the shed to other now..
just fitted up some wide pegs... now can have the
frame /arm etc sand blasted...Ready for the paint..

I lifted the lid of the motor.. It's still on standard bore
theres NO piston movement , even still see the stone
hatching in the bore still...
