Loose Tail Light on XTR
 

Hello All

Is this normal ?

Tail light on my XTR is loose - ie it flips up and down...?

All the bolts at the back are tight but the light flips up and down - almost like it hinges on the rubber grommets?

It doesnt bother me but I dont know if its normal

Yeah sounds about right,my rear light had double sided tape at the end just to stop this...was forever replacing it due to weather and dirt getting to sticky stuff so changed rear light to LED looks better got my light from supercheap auto

Its designed that way to allow it to absorb some of the vibrations and lengthen the bulb life, if it was fixed solid you would be changing the bulbs more often.

Absolutely normal!
