the heavier 525 chain will slow acceleration (pickup) and slightly increase the unsprung weight on the rear. Another thing to consider is the extra inertia caused by the increased weight of a 525 over a 520 could cause it to wear itself out.
Personally I think a good quality 520 chain and sprockets are adequate
