Bikes I've owned...
Kawasaki GT550 (stop laughing at the back..). Excellent beginner bike and the best 300 I've ever spent. Ran it (further) into the ground
Suzuki GS1000 (rebored to 1100 with racing cams and exhaust). Looked fantastic; held together with a warehouse full of rusty bolts and washers. Died quickly Honda CBX750. Possibly the strangest bike I've ever seen (excepting the VFR800). Top heavy, with knackered piston rings. But it was running, kind of... Kawasaki GPZ900. Utterly fantastic bike and the very first bike I ever rode (long term loan from a mate). Totalled by a blind American OAP driver. Husqvarna TE410. Fan-bloody-tastic (when I could kick start it). Nicked by a thieving w****r (at least he crashed it, ending in hospital) Husqvarna TE410E. Supermoto'd it. Great fun. Then became a money pit (...and still parts for sale on ebay!) Yamaha XT660Z Tenere: :partyondude: |
