Adventure Boy 18-05-12 16:23

Theres 10 on ebay at the mo

steveD 18-05-12 23:04

Crusty is thinking of selling his Ten. It's a bit high mileage but in good nick with many extras. I think he will even sell it with panniers and frames.
It's got about 25K miles on it but I know that he has regularly changed oil and serviced her.

He cannot get on the site at the moment but if you are interested, contact me and I'll get some more details. The bike is somewhere nr Stourbridge (Birmingham)

I recon you could get this bike for abrgain as he doesn't ride it anymore, he's got a Tiger instead.

spen 19-05-12 00:52

At 25k i wouldn"t be interested ,sorry

Ohlins 19-05-12 01:28

SteveD...

He's not by change parting out any of his extras by chance?

:)

Correct, they don't do Brown ones, you must be thinking of Desert Khaki . It's blue.

Oh dear
I hope I did not upset too many desert khaki owners.
I would be surprised if it says that on the v5 instead of brown :axe:

tripletom 21-05-12 09:50

I think it was an SN06 would need to check the pc at home to confirm the registration. That would be the one that went down the road that you said you would not buy.....Watch the back wheel the hub was that soft the bearings were moving arround and that was the under waranty replacement. Does it still have the kev mod? scottoiler with touring res behind number plate. I have a speedo healer and a set of front brake pads for it. I may even still have a rear sprocket need to check the garage for that.:blob1:

Any way how are you - did you make the 6 days this year?

My missus has now passed her bike test, got a F650GS same as she learnt on.

Now back working in Edinburgh so better commute road for the bike and a bit closer.

Do you know anyone who does cavity wall insulation on a small extension, the bathroom if you remember it.

afk40 08-06-12 20:52

yea Colin.. the front mudguard is scuffed on the front right... the screen is scuffed, an the brake lever is slightly bent... no Kev mod in there or snorkel, the rear Hub is in a bit o a state, wi corosion. no chain oiler on it... an what is a speedo healer.??? it does have carbon cans on it., looks like theyve been on a while , but it sounds ok an goes ok,,, 22k miles.. full service history..

thats good about yer wife passin her test... dont know cavity insulation boys,, an Yea a did go to the 6 days... slept in ma van an ran around an followed the trial on ma Van Van.... wel need tae catch up some time... I was gonna be passin thru Selkirk the morra, but ave changed ma mind due tae the weather, as teh Drifter club is stayin at Tibbie sheils,, 50 o them..i was gonna go,, an the run is a loop around Selkirk/peeples an the like..., but if the weather breaks, some time,,al take a trip out there.. a hve a 1500 Bobber...kawa drifter. an yer aul bike... cheeers Colin

colros 12-06-12 13:50

Must have been dropped again, I put a new Brake leaver on it and the Front mudguard and screen were ok.

It had stainless Carbon cans, they were Tricky's old ones. I think I gave you the originals?

Cannot remember it all but it should have been serviced by BCG bike galashiels in 2007/8.

Speedo Healer allows you to fix the speedo rerading when you have none original sprockets on.

We went to mOffat via Tibbie shiels on Saturday and back by Peebles.

Did my first Off road race on Sunday, the Hare and Hound at West Linton. I could be suffering for a few more days yet.......:hw27: but managed to finish and I was not last ok I was 3rd last finisher.

How are your :gal: keeping?
