       hi kev and kriss007
sorry for other replys for some reason my phone wont let me post a complete message. KEV im getting engine for $1300 its a 2010 xtr model with 5000kms its from the project bike hypoboang was making (one with the ducati fuel tank) long story on his behalf so i bought it. KRISS007 not sure what im doing with old motor the gearbox 3rd and 4th gears need replacing..$500 for yamaha australia just for gears only (have done a thread on kevs page with pictures of damage so have a look) plus gaskets and anything else. I have found a netherlands site that does xt bit's cheap but the postage it what kills it. http://www.oemmotorparts.com/ i need would love to do a big bore or even a turbo unit..shame you and kev are on other side of australia we could have another project alex |

Look for adventure time on ebay for the gaskets you need they are much cheeper than here and maybe contact them for a price on the gears.
An N/A Big Bore is the go! you will plenty of power, a turbo will add more weight to a bike that is already heavy. |
