       New pics

Well that's me just completed my first 1000 miles on the XTX.
Thought I'd post a pic of what it looks like now. Only things I've added so far is the red rim tape and a set of hand guards. I did also add the wind deflectors the other day but they're not in the pic. I think the rim tape makes a big difference in brightening the wheels up and all for a few pounds. I have started to notice the tail end though and can't help but think that it just doesn't look right. So things for the future are a set of cans and doing something different with the back end. Suggestions please! |

One more thing, I hate the red decal on the headlight surround.
Any ideas what I could replace this with. I'd like something similar in style to the decals on the tank. Has anyone else done anything like this? |

That bike looks perfect to me. Very nice indeed.

Not sure about the decals but a set of either chrome or carbon cans would just set that bike off and also make it sound proper

It'll be stainless when I finally get a set of cans. I done the carbon thing with the R1.
My only concern is that recently folk are saying that the MTC cans with the baffles are too loud. This might be a prob as I leave for work at 5.45am some shifts and don't come home until 4am some shifts. |

Short shift. My akras are mega loud and I also work unsociable hours, just ride quiet ;)
