After reading on here about the speedo being way out on the ten I rode along side my mate on his gs1200 and told him to do a steady 80mph so I could ride by the side of him to see what reading I would get on the ten, It was showing 81mph on my speedo and 92 at 90. So all in all it wasn't bad I thought.

It is as bad as you thought, its just the GS is almost equally as bad!?:017:

My old GSA I reckoned was about 8% optimistic, the XTZ seems to be about 9%, which roughly tallies with your results for the two bikes.

I have a speedo Healer if you would like to adjust it? used it on my 660x when I was running different sprockets but not using it on the z.
