Handlebars

Hi all,
As a new(ish) owner of an XTR, does anyone have any advice on handlebar replacement? I would like to just replace the standard ones with something slightly higher (for comfort) plus the standard OEM ones seem a bit flimsy.

Hi Mate,
I am tall and fitted Renthal Enduro High bars. They are very comfy and OK for standing up on the pegs. The cables are just long enough to reach.

I went for the Renthal Streetfighter bars, which i found just every so slightly higher and narrower than the standard bars. Only �45 and alot stronger than standard bars.

The bars are 28mm dia aren't they? It seems that Renthal do 7/8" or 1 1/8" so i guess only the latter will fit? Apologies for the stupid question.
