Lakeland meet 2012

A quick note to all participants of this forum.

It has come to my notice that not many people are signed up for the forthcoming meet in the Lakes this year. Your team and especially Darren (Gas-up Lets Go) have spent a considerable amount of time organising this event but at the moment it does'nt seem to be especially well subscribed.
If you intend to come will you please inform us.
This is a great opportunity to meet likeminded bikers and get some great tips for camping, using your GPS, bike skills off road and the like.

We have also been out and about using contacts to get some very useful prizes for the event and at some cost to ourselves will be trying to make the event as memorable as we can.

This year I will be taking a Marquee and will be getting to the site early to get things ready as I know others will be.
Darren has scourced an excellent site and the NavXT event will be even better.

In escence even if you cannot make the full weekend or you do not want to participate in the 'event' you will be more that welcome and a great time will be guaranteed.

Hi Everyone,

Due to some bad planning on my part I'm not able to make Lakeland this year, I'm so disappointed not to be going as I thoroughly enjoyed last years event. I'll actually be in the area at the weekend but am tied up with the organisation of another event... if you see an XT1200Z with a group of assorted bikes loosely following there is a good chance it's me...

Have a great time and hopefully the weather will be better than last year.

Have a good one

If you want to pm me your number i will find out b n b details off darren when i get up there and then ring you tommorow afternoon with them.
I seem to recall from when we were there a couple of weeks back there being a b n b very close to the site.
Failing that there are pods on site?
