       Hi all!
Just bought a 2007 XT660R (blue) in totally standard trim, and absolutely love the bike. Should have bought one years ago... I've just sold my old CCM as i was now looking for something more user friendly, which i could use more on road than off, with maybe a bit of touring added in for good measure. Enjoyed the British stalwart but got to the point where i needed more from my bike. Will start looking for a decent sump guard but first i want to add a rack for my Kriega tail pack. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and look forward to receiving advice on these bikes in the coming weeks. Cheers Will (Southampton). |

       Hello mate.
Do u have the kriega US series? If so you can strap the strappy bits to the subframe and make it sit nice and flush to the rear fender. No need for a rack although if ur pack is bigger than a 20 I don't know it it would work... enjoy ur new bike :D |

       Hi from me also !

Hi, I am new to the forum too however Im on my 2nd XT660 now (2007 model ) as I liked the first one that much ! Gone a bit further though with this one and have a Stage 1 filter, Power Commander and a stage 2 filter waiting in the wings (when Ive got to the bottom of the Power commander adjusting fuel below 4000rpm.) Chucking 47.5 BHP at wheel out at mo despite running a bit lean below 4000rpm ! Picture of my bike to follow when I have sussed how to do it !!
