Hi all
I've got an 09 karky colour xt660z but read that this is only on the 08 model, so is mine an 08 but registerd in 09 and comes with all the 08 hic ups.

I have an 09 Khaki Tenere and do not have any of the 'associated' problems with it.
I originally had one of the first 08 Khaki Tens and the only real problem was the reg/ rectifier problem.
I have made sure that the connector is correctly put together and have no problems whatsoever.

...........just the usual cush rubbers and crap headlights.
I have an HID now and replace the inner tube on the cush when I replace the rear tyre.

Mine is the same as yours 08 model/plate registered in feb 09.

I haven't had any issues at all!

Mine was registered in aug 09 but did they only do that colour on the 08 model. Or did they do it on some 09 models also.
