New camera

Hi i was reviewing a few of my pictures from a recent trip to donegal, unfortunately my faithful fuji is past it! there is dirt or sand in the sealed lens unit, it's had a good life, been to the desert a few times not to mention the numerous camping trips never mind the usual family stuff, so retires well!.

so i got a canon sx130 all seems good, I'm no camera buff, it's no dslr, easily stashed, good lens range. plenty good enough for my abilities

so i went for a spin in the ring of gullion and took a few snaps, here goes

Nice scenery. Just wanted to know what muffs you have on your bike and will they fit over hand guards. I have Yamaha ones at the moment. Thanks.

Hi fac191,
the muffs are tocano urbano r319's i Bought them from another forum member, I'm really pleased with them. I got them just before the frost in feb [i think] and they have been well tested. There is a set of ktm handguards in there! so I guess the yamaha guards should be ok

thanks jase, see you the weekend hopefully

hi keith the fuji i had was a simular size to yours, just not as much zoom- or quality, i guess 5 years of stuffing into bumbags and struggling into pockets.... I just wanted a more bike friendly, simple to use, easily stashed, reasonable zoom camera. it should do the job

I liked the way you locked the front wheel as you came to a halt.

Camera seem as well.

good that wasn't it. nah, combo of knackered tkc and slippery surface!

fac191 20-03-12 22:23

Thanks for the info Stoic.
