Intake temperature sensor Ohm reading

According to service manual (Both X/R and Z) this should be ~2,5 Ohm by 20 dgr C.
I measure it to rather 2,5 KOhm on two well running motors (X and Z).
Also Kev.s mod with 1KOhm pot indicates this.
