Hills around the Glenlivet and Tomintoul area - yep good fun, even when stuck in a bog while snowing.......not.

Aye, you guessed it. Down the road from Aviemore.

Thats my mate Jim standing with the cup in his hand (He's an ex enduro rider who introduced me to the off road side of bikes) - the track behind him only runs for another 50m but then hits gravel forestry tracks and leads up to the higher hills. The photo after that one is looking up in the opposite direction which is the way we came down.

This was me getting to my campsite in Swansea. When i was booking it i thought "forest" that sounds like a good idea:017:......little did i know it was a good 600m of muddy fields, slimmy gravel/rocks and more mud. Oh and did i mention that the muddy field also had about 6-8 horses which just didnt want to ****** off when you wanted to open the gate and wobble through it!!!

Saying that ive taken the Tiger on a few flat/easy gravel trails and it handled them fine

Go on, give us a clue, where can I find that plated view point?

Nice photo's and views. What was Jim doing before deciding to give the bike a rest?

You'll just have to come along Steve!

The sleeping tenere was a result of having to go around a fallen tree - moss on top of and hiding old rotting branches makes life a little unpredictable.

jimmysimpson 10-03-12 17:11

It's all good. lol. Same again this Sunday. Steve, 13.00 at Fife Kieth square min.

Thanks for the invite - but already booked on a run out east into the hinterlands ;)

I'll look out for more pictures of "resting" XTZs
