Leo Vince exhaust question ??
 

Hi there,
Quick question here,
I am about to fit Leo Vince exhaust to my XT660Z which is still under warranty.
Does it affect my warranty? (I think it doesn�t but worth checking)
I am not going to play with engine/filters/fuelling etc, strictly just remove �old� original exhaust and fit Leo Vince instead.

Technically yes it would as you are changing the machine from stock. However, were you to have any issues that required warranty, you would of course have the standard system fitted wouldn't you? ;)

Mods affecting warranty.
Just to clear up things, any addition to the wiring or any mod to a motorcycle will void warranty of the replacement part, if the mod can be proven to be the fault or cause of the failure of the component.

From past experience over the past 5 year of being on this forum I have not heard on one single warranty claim been rejected because of after market Exhausts.
