motocross stands

evening all.
has anyone used a motocross stand on their XT with standard twin fannymolds? I ask as I have no bash plate and wonder about the strength of the downpipes vs jacking the beast up...
any help/opinions appreciated :D

I have wondered about that as I've no bash plate but why not use a paddock stand I got mine from ebay australia

Be aware that most MX stands are only rated to about 150kg.

ATV stand

Hi, I've faced the same problem. The largest capacity MX stand I could find was 170kg, not quite enough. I bought a cheap hydraulic stand with a capacity of 680kg. It was only $150 Australian. Works well, the underslung pipes seem OK. Having said that the first lift was VERY slow & careful. No damage.
The only problem so far has been the rubber pads on the lift have melted from the heat of the headers.
So no worries so far. Good luck with yours.
