04 shrouds on 2011 XTX?
 

As above, can you easily fit 04 tank shrouds (the longer ones) to an 11 plate X? I prefer the longer shrouds on the older models... :eusa_think:

No idea mate.

Someone on here must have had both and should be able to tell if the mounting points were any different.

I am pretty certain they dont fit:-)

******! The longer mk1 shtouds are nicer imo...

just to follow this up, the R still uses the longer/deeper shrouds of the mk1 although the mount points are different and less (2 on the R and 3 on the X) Having said that, after closer examination it would seem that some creative drilling and precision melting they could be made to fit the X... hmmmmmm
