XTX 2010 cutting out

i have a friends XTX 2010 in my garage while he is on holiday, while i have it im servicing it for him and making sure its all ok as he is not good at looking after bikes.

he has told me it keeps cutting out... on tick over it runs fine but if you snap the throttle open it bogs and cuts out... air filter is fine CO is all ok... any ideas????

Does it cut out when he's slowing down and going down the gears?

If so, does that not point to the TPS?

hes quite a novice and getting him to explain it was hard work, It cuts out anytime so he said, but im more thinking its on slowing down or slight opening of the throttle, like i tried it on tick over. TPS is first thought too.

Set the idle speed to 1500rpm when the motor is warm.
