Akrapovic 2 into 1 Carbon
 

Looking at the Akrapovic 2 into 1 carbon fibre exhaust supposedly exclusive to OTR. Wondering if anyone has seen or used them? Not cheap but over 5kg weight saving, slip in cat and modifiable baffles sounds pretty good!

I ordered one about two weeks ago so should have it any day now.. Will then be able to contibute to this thread.. Looking forward to it!!! What a christmas present :-)

Awesome Sysie! I'm still drooling over them every chance I get. I can't wait to see what they look like on! Did you order them with or without the cat convertor in the link pipe? Will be interesting to see how they integrate with an Aussie rego plate!

No cat converter.. Not sure about ADR but it is E-marked :-).. Dont know if that helps? but will ride it like that until I run into problems and will then sort it out .. Any issues other than a fine that I should be worried about?

Is that the OTR tail tidy and led blinkers and a water pump guard? I hope u managed to stay under $1000 so no import gst? Is the link pipe chromed stainless or is it just the lighting? So jealous maybe if I show my wife she will allow me to get one? HAHA

Not Cat should be fine as I think? it only cleans the air for EPA as opposed to being essential for muffling ability.

LOUD, VERY LOUD OR SUPERCROSS LOUD?

Here it is :-), just need to cut the tailtidy shorter after I fit the rear red reflector... It was a little over $1000 but did not pay any GST :-). Took it for a ride today and is very very very happy. Its got a nice deep throaty sound but not too load.. When cold the normal backfire is a little loud, but as soon as she warms up it is great! On full throttle it screams beautifully and if you tap off the power just a little it quiets down nicely.. Was afraid it will be too much for long distance.. But it is not.. Thanks Akrapovic! You guys rock!
